A one-day workshop with Tania Mason to introduce the art of painting with gouache! Whether you're taking your first steps into the world of painting or seeking to enhance your existing skills, this workshop is designed to provide you with the tools, techniques, and inspiration to create beautiful artworks with confidence.
Learn the fundamental principles of gouache painting, from understanding colour theory and mixing to mastering various application techniques. Our experienced instructors will guide you through step-by-step demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and personalised feedback, ensuring that you not only grasp the technical aspects but also develop your own artistic style.

This workshop is suitable for beginners through to more advanced students wishing to learn something new, refine your skills, or simply immerse yourself in a day of art
Materials Required
- Lead Pencil HB/Staedtler preferred.
- 1 Arches or Canson watercolour paper pad (185gsm Preferred, smooth A3 size)
- A4 sketchbook
- Hard Eraser
- Masking tape
- Rags/old tea towel
- Watercolour brush set (a mix of round/pointy and flat brushes)
- Gouache tube set (Reeves recommended)
