The GreenWay Art Prize

The GreenWay Art Prize celebrates the precious green corridor in Sydney’s inner west and aims to capture the essence of the GreenWay through visual art.

Now in its tenth year, the GreenWay Art Prize is a much loved art event which attracts hundreds of entries across a range of mediums including painting, sculpture and photography. Artists will be invited to submit works for the competition that capture the qualities of the GreenWay and celebrate the urban environment, sustainable transport and community connections through visual art.

Entries have now closed.

Shortlisted entrants will be notified by Monday 14 October.

• GreenWay Open Art Prize valued at $6,000 including an exhibition at Art Est.
• GreenWay Local Artist Prize valued at $1,500
• Cooks River Small Sculpture Prize valued at $2,000
• GreenWay Community Photography Prize Adult: Winner $500, 2nd place $250, Youth (Under 18), Winner $200, 2nd place $100
• Derivan People’s Choice Award: $500 worth of Derivan Matisse art supplies
