Monika is an experienced art educator with a Masters Degree in Art Education (Visual Arts) from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She has been teaching for 6 years, both in Slovenia and in Sydney. 

Her work focuses on figurative and expressive painting and sculptural ceramics. 

Monika planned and set up exhibitions for the UL Pef Gallery and participated in the "Connected Silk Road" international exhibition in Nantong, China. Exhibited at the UNICUM international ceramics triennial and in 2020 exhibited at Gallery Square, Exhibition "1+1" in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

She taught the Basics of Ceramics and Creative Ceramics course under the mentorship of the internationally renowned specialized sculptor Mirko Bratuša in the Ljubljana University, Art Education program for Visual Art. During the same period, she independently taught drawing, painting and sculpture courses for children, adolescents and adults at the art school Nic Art. 

She is committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging to students. Ensuring that every child’s learning styles and abilities are addressed.
