Sydney artist Jane Prior is drawn to the immersive, ephemeral nature of the bush, and wilder pockets of parkland environment around the city. She completed her degree at the National Art School, and has recently shown work at Articulate Project Space, in ‘Change – A Bird Life Australia Bird Week Exhibition’ at The Corner Gallery, Stanmore and a finalist in the GreenWay Art Prize.
Gentle and wild, structured and free, evolved and primitive - Jane’s work respectfully disrupts the natural order.
