Illustration | Pop Art Pictures | 8-12 years
Explore new ways to observe the things around you. Taking notice of the unseen in the everyday. For example an apple has a myriad of patterns and shapes on its skin that you miss out on if you just look quickly. Utilising visual art practices such as op-art, pop-art and pattern making we will push our observation techniques to draw out hidden details to create psychedelic interpretations of the things around us. First working in black and white to create incredible patterns, and then in colour with pencil and markers to really make them pop!
What will students take home?
Students will leave with their own colourful pop art creation on A3 watercolour paper.
