In this whimsical ceramic sculpture class, students create charming sleeping critters in cozy beds. Students learn the art of sculpting with clay to create adorable animal sculptures peacefully nestled in dreamland. This imaginative and hands-on workshop encourages creativity as little sculptors bring their sleepy critters to life.
Designed for young creators, this hands-on workshop encourages exploration and self-expression through the tactile world of clay. Students will learn the fundamentals of hand building techniques to mould unique sculptures. From pinch pots to coil creations, students discover the joy of turning a lump of clay into a personal masterpiece.

What will students take home?
A fired ceramic sculpture. The artworks made in this class will be fired in our kiln so kids will not take their artwork home on the day. The work needs to dry out before bisque firing, we then glaze the work and fire again in our kiln. We will send you an email notifying you when to collect your artwork so keep an eye on your inbox. Please allow about 3 weeks until they are ready to collect.
