What will you achieve:

During this workshop, you will:
•    Create a beautiful and unique marine-inspired sculpture or vessel
•    Learn Carol’s professional tips and tricks for working with clay and texture
•    Learn to design and plan your work
•    Learn sculptural hand-building techniques
•    Learn about surface texturing techniques
•    Learn from the best — Carol lives in Sydney, and has completed a research-based Master of Fine Art and a Master of Design at UNSWADA.

Carol’s art practice is based in drawing and ceramics, and is primarily concerned with human relationships with nature. She uses the intertidal zone as a metaphor for these uneasy relationships, and is interested in the interconnectedness of natural environments over the hierarchical human systems.
