Ceramics | Special Effects: Glazing with Isis Star
Learn exciting glazing techniques to create beautifully finished ceramics.
This class is an introduction to glazing and learn how to glaze your work using different glazing techniques such as bubbling, dipping, pouring or dripping.
What to expect
A complete pot or two. After the glazing class, we will fire the pots for you to collect in one to two weeks. Once the pots are glazed fired, your pieces will be food safe, dishwasher and microwave safe.
We will supply the glazes, underglazes and brushes.
Is this course right for me?
Beginners to intermediate. No glazing experience necessary.
Material list
- An apron and latex gloves if you have sensitive skin.
- Facial mask if you have asthma, hayfever or have an allergy to dust.
- A bisque fired ceramic piece you’d like to glaze.

Our class sizes are small, ensuring you receive the individual tuition you need. We have a maximum of 12 students per class.
