Material List
If you do not have materials but are keen to try oil painting, you can add the Oil Painting Materials Fee to your cart ($50) and we will supply paints, brushes, mediums etc for you to use in class, along with the required canvasses.
ALL students will still need to bring:
- Soft rags or a roll of paper towel
- One or two jam jars with lids for mixing solvents and cleaning
- Packet of sanitizing wipes: also for clean-up
- Latex gloves if you are sensitive to oil paint etc.
If you are bringing your own materials you will need ALL of the following:
- A Flat Paint Palette (Melamine or palette paper preferred). About A3 in size
- A palette knife
- 3 x canvas boards of 10x12 inches (25x30cm), 12x14 inches (30x40cm), or similar (also available for purchase at Art Est (approx $7 each, subject to stock).
