Portraits in Charcoal, Pastel and Chalk with Tam Cao

This 4 week drawing course is a great way for students to improve their portrait drawing skills. Learn portrait drawing in charcoal, pastel and chalk on toned paper. Firstly from a live model and then from photographs under controlled lighting. In this short course you'll increase your understanding of drawing, tone and temperature with some basic art materials.

Materials List
Materials required:
- Canson Mi-teintes warm mid tone pastel paper
- Thin willow charcoal
- Conte Sanguine pastel 610 (or any earthy red hard pastel)
- Faber Castell white Pitt pencil (Or any calk white pencil)
- Flat roughly 1/2 inch cheap hog hair brush
- Kneadable Eraser
- Electric Battery eraser (optional)
