Winner of the prestigious Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship (2009), the Hurford Hardwood Portrait Prize (2018), and highly commended for the Percival Portrait Prize (2020), Nicole is known for her landscape, portraiture and still life paintings. Her works are often well-recognised by her vibrant strokes of colour and swift brushwork. Nicole exhibits with Arthouse Gallery, Sydney.
She has been a finalist in many of Australia’s most prestigious awards including Black Swan Prize for Portraiture at the Art Gallery of Western Australia (2019, 2018, 2017, 2015), Portia Geach Memorial Award (2020, 2019, 2015, 2014), Salon des Refuses (2019, 2016) and Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales (2015).
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) from the National Art School in Sydney and is currently completing her Master of Fine Art at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
Nicole teaches painting to adults and students in after school classes.
