Our holiday program for kids and teens will be launched and open to enrolments on Monday 1 March.

Each holidays we offer:

Fun and creative holiday activities for school kids age 5 years and over (NO preschoolers)
One and two-day workshops for teens to develop skills and explore new mediums (10-4pm)
3 hour workshops available morning and afternoon (9.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-4.30pm) for kids 5 and over
Build your own program choosing one workshop, several across the holidays or stay for a full day
Lunchtime supervision for kids staying the whole day at no extra charge
Prices include all art materials and tuition
Activities include painting, drawing, cartooning, ceramics, pottery wheel, printmaking and more!
Our main studios are fully air conditioned, so it’s comfortable all year round!

All classes are held in our Leichhardt warehouse studio with extra measures in place for everyone’s safety and well-being. Please read about our Covid-19 safe measures here.

Using your Creative Kids Voucher for online school holiday activities

Use your 2021 Creative Kids voucher for any of our school holiday workshops and save $100!* 2021 Vouchers valid anytime in 2021. All you have to do is claim your Creative Kids Voucher from Service NSW, choose your workshops, call us on 95641519 or email us your Creative Kids voucher with your enrolment details and preferred classes, and leave the rest to us. Please note: our web checkout does not allow you to do an online enrolment using your voucher, so you will need to call us or email us first. We cannot retrospectively apply the Creative Kids Voucher if you have already enrolled and paid. (NO exceptions)

Changes to Pottery Wheel class age restrictions

Pottery wheel classes are now only offered for children 10 years and over. This decision has been made as younger children are not able to evenly moderate the pressure on the pedal which causes excessive wear and tear being placed on the motors. Consequently we have had to undertake many unscheduled repairs on the wheels. We know this will disappoint many children, however our handbuilding classes are also lots of fun.

Checking your Art Est account

Did you know you can login to your account via our website to check all your current bookings, history, payments etc? Choose MY ACCOUNT at the top of our home page, enter your details then select forgot password the first time you do this to set up your account. Children and parents/guardian will be linked in the one account. Try it and see!

Drawing | Taking the Line for a Walk | 8-12 years

Printmaking | Two Day Workshop | 12 years +

A great two day course for teens to explore relief printmaking. The bonus is that students will turn their drawings/designs into prints, creating ‘multiples’ of your artwork to keep, swap or give away. Masterclass | Odd Bods | Writing, Illustrating and Creating Stories | 8-12 years old

What’s an Odd Bod I hear you ask? Well it’s a character that is the polar opposite to our main character in a story. Together they have to fight crime, save the world, win the pony championships, protect the planet and win the school baking competition all before setting the table for a family dinner. Painting | Freya's Tears Inspired by Klimt | 8-12 years

The painting called “Golden Tears” or “Freya's Tears” pictured here was painted by French artist Anne-Marie Zilberman in the style of Gustav Klimt. In this workshop, you will also paint a portrait in this style using acrylic paint and gold leaf and take home your own masterpiece on a canvas. Sculpture | Paper Ferns | 8-12 years
