Draw, Design, Print | Term course | 10 and over

A great class for students who love drawing, illustration or sketching to extend their skill and learn how to translate their drawings into a range of different printmaking techniques. Students will learn different printmaking methods including lino, monoprints, collagraph and drypoint etching throughout the term. Students will look at a range of artists work for inspiration, come up with designs that are great for printing and experiment with pattern, texture, colour and composition using a range of different materials. Over this 8 week course students will build confidence and be encouraged to develop creative thinking and their own visual style and take home several art projects.

A great course for over 10s who love drawing, graphic design, or illustration. The bonus is that students will turn their drawings/designs into prints, creating ‘multiples’ of your artwork to keep, swap or give away. By the end of the course you’ll have completed a limited edition of original prints to keep or share.
