Outline:

Join our fun and colorful holiday art class inspired by the imaginative world of Austrian artist Hundertwasser through drawing. Kids will have the chance to design their own imaginary buildings and landscapes, taking inspiration from Hundertwasser's love for nature and his belief in the harmony between humans and the environment. Kids will be encouraged to incorporate organic shapes, irregular patterns, and lively textures into their drawings, just like Hundertwasser did in his works. Using a range of media from oil pastels to textas, kids will explore his art and draw their own environment.

School Holiday Information

To ensure our students have a great time with us over the school holidays, we ask parents and guardians to please take note of the following:

• Students should bring a drink and a healthy nut-free morning or afternoon tea snack and their waterbottle.
• Please sign your child in and out 10 minutes before/after their session.
• Ensure your child is wearing appropriate clothing for a potentially messy art class.
• If your child has any allergies, medical issues or special needs, please make it known to us at the time of booking. Any medications must be clearly marked with your child’s name, photo ID and action plan.
• If your child is staying for two sessions (morning and afternoon), Art Est provides a supervised lunchtime break and will ensure children are safely escorted between buildings where necessary. Please ensure your child has a packed lunch and a hat and sunscreen. If weather permits, they may be taken to a nearby park during the lunchtime break.

About our studio classes

Our class sizes are small, ensuring all students receive the individual tuition they need. We have a maximum of 12 students per class. For kids and teen classes, art materials are included in the fee. To learn about our studios, kitchen facilities and how to get there, click here.
