Cartoon Illustration | Piracy on the High Seas | 6-8 years

A workshop for young artists who are into the Pirates of the Caribbean, Hook, Treasure Island and Pan. The world of the Pirate is a treasure chest of inspiration and this workshop will help young artists unlock it. The workshop facilitator Sam McNair is a professional illustrator and cartoonist who is a terrible sailor but a pretty fantastic drawing captain. Sam will teach specialist drawing techniques in this drawing focused workshop. The workshop will feature step by step demonstrations of how to draw cut-throat pirates, heroines, treasure maps and pirate ships.

Frequently asked questions

If I book for morning and afternoon sessions on a single day will children be supervised at lunchtime? Yes. Children enrolled in morning and afternoon sessions will be supervised through the 1 hour lunch break. Just pack lunch and extra snacks.The break may include a visit to Lambert Park Playground just around the corner at the end of Davies Street – so bring a hat and sunscreen. There is NO additional fee for this supervision

How many children are in each class? We keep classes to 12 students to ensure maximum learning opportunity.

Are materials included in the workshop fee? Yes, the fee for each 3 hour workshop is $60 and this includes all materials and tuition.

If I cancel a booking can I get a refund? Please read our school holiday cancellation and refund policy in our terms and conditions carefully. We do not offer refunds for cancellations and a cancellation fee may be payable or you may forfeit the course fee, depending on when you cancel
