Make a Koala in clay in this fun workshop. Will your Koala be in a Tiara, wearing a hat or something else? First you'll do a drawing of your animal, then students will learn techniques in hand building and working with clay. Paint your sculpture in ceramic underglaze colours ready to be kiln fired..
What will students take home?
A fired ceramic sculpture for you to proudly display. The artworks made in this class will be fired in our kiln so kids will not take their artwork home on the day. The work needs to dry out before bisque firing, we then glaze the work and fire again in our kiln. We will send you an email notifying you when to collect your artwork so keep an eye on your inbox. Please allow about 3 weeks until they are ready to collect.
