Outline:
In this engaging session, we'll dive into the world of graffiti lettering and help young artists learn how to write the alphabet with a graffiti-inspired twist. Through hands-on activities and step-by-step instruction, kids will explore different graffiti styles, from bold and dynamic to decorative and expressive. They'll discover techniques to make their letters stand out, incorporating vibrant colors and shading using paint and Posca pens.
The workshop will culminate in an exciting project where each child will create their own artwork featuring their name in graffiti lettering. They'll have the chance to express their creativity and personal style while painting their name on paper.
What will students take home?
Students will finish their name in graffiti lettering using Posca Pens on paper.
School Holiday Information
To ensure our students have a great time with us over the school holidays, we ask parents and guardians to please take note of the following:
- Students should bring a drink and a healthy nut-free morning or afternoon tea snack and their waterbottle.
- Please sign your child in and out 10 minutes before/after their session.
- Ensure your child is wearing appropriate clothing for a potentially messy art class.
- If your child has any allergies, medical issues or special needs, please make it known to us at the time of booking. Any medications must be clearly marked with your child’s name, photo ID and action plan.
- If your child is staying for two sessions (morning and afternoon), Art Est provides a supervised lunchtime break and will ensure children are safely escorted between buildings where necessary. Please ensure your child has a packed lunch and a hat and sunscreen. If weather permits, they may be taken to a nearby park during the lunchtime break.

About our studio classes
Our class sizes are small, ensuring all students receive the individual tuition they need. We have a maximum of 12 students per class. For kids and teen classes, art materials are included in the fee. To learn about our studios, kitchen facilities and how to get there, click here.
