Outline:
Join our fun, French-themed workshop this Bastille Day. Play with colours and shapes that are inspired by the world around you, and create a bright and bold collage artwork to take home with you. Famous French Artist Henri Matisse is well known for his series of art works called 'cut outs' This style of work consists of bold and bright patterns created from painting and collage. In this workshop kids will create their own take on this beautiful style of work and take home a beautiful work of art that will brighten up any room.
* Students should be confident with using scissors.

School Holiday Information
To ensure our students have a great time with us over the school holidays, we ask parents and guardians to please take note of the following:
- Students should bring a drink and a healthy nut-free morning or afternoon tea snack and their waterbottle.
- Please sign your child in and out 10 minutes before/after their session.
- Ensure your child is wearing appropriate clothing for a potentially messy art class.
- If your child has any allergies, medical issues or special needs, please make it known to us at the time of booking. Any medications must be clearly marked with your child’s name, photo ID and action plan.
- If your child is staying for two sessions (morning and afternoon), Art Est provides a supervised lunchtime break and will ensure children are safely escorted between buildings where necessary. Please ensure your child has a packed lunch and a hat and sunscreen. If weather permits, they may be taken to a nearby park during the lunchtime break.

About our studio classes
Our class sizes are small, ensuring all students receive the individual tuition they need. We have a maximum of 12 students per class. For kids and teen classes, art materials are included in the fee. To learn about our studios, kitchen facilities and how to get there, click here.
