Drawing Workshop | All Stitched up | Rhonda Pryor

This is a fun and experimental drawing workshop that will push you into new directions exploring the possibilities of pinholes and stitching as contemporary drawing tools. We’ll look at artists such as Rieko Koga, Richard McVetis, Jose Romussi, Louise Bourgeois, Christine Mauersberger and Ruth Singer, examining their techniques and adapting them to our capabilities and interests. Pinholes and stitching as line tools will be combined with patched collage in stimulating and adventurous ways. Relevant videos/podcasts will be played and discussed during the class, and resource sheets will be provided.
