Drawing | Urban Landscapes and Built Environment | Workshop with Jody Graham

Course overview

The subject for this one day workshop with popular tutor Jody Graham is the urban or built environment, which is any man made structures on the landscape. This is a fun and inspiring drawing workshop that will expose you to a range of interesting techniques and expand your knowledge of mark making beyond the pencil! We’ll start the workshop with a series of structured exercises that will encourage you to loosen up and explore your creative voice. Artwork from these techniques and ideas will be developed in the second part of the class. Some skills you can can expect to learn about include; drawing, line, tone, composition, perspective and collage. A special feature of this workshop is using materials to make marks that are not usually associated with drawing and painting. Please bring your own reference images or this workshop.
