Expand your perception of collage and the re-purposing of visual ideas. Sydney-based artist Janet Parker-Smith will teach you how to transform existing images into new ones using the process of collage. Learn the practices of cutting and composition to create original artworks using archival and existing imagery. Bring a range of materials with you, such as prints, drawings, photographs, offcuts of fabrics, threads, newspaper and magazine clippings and learn how to transform them into works of art.
