Colour and Light | Student Showcase | 14 October – 13 November

Curated by tutor Ashley Frost and his students, the exhibition ‘Colour and Light’ brings together Ashley’s Art Est students from his teen’s classes, landscape painting and adult open studio classes. The works in the exhibition represent the past term’s program of teaching that has had a focus on colour theory, mark making and tonal design. Works include landscapes, interiors, still life, portrait, and abstraction.

“I am thrilled to see the students' artworks professionally displayed in the Art Est gallery,” said tutor Ashley Frost. "Bringing together such a diverse range of approaches from young people and adults alike is a unique opportunity to explore the many stylistic elements of painting. The exhibition space literally glows with colour and light."
