Site Directions

Our new Annex Studios 4 and 5 are located at 42-48 John Street Leichhardt, above the Hardware Store on the corner of Hill Street. John Street runs between Moore Street and Styles Street in the 'east village' precinct of Leichhardt near White's Creek Annandale. The entry is via the carpark which is accessed via Hill Street. 

Parking

There is limited free onsite parking for Art Est. students. 

While the rooftop car park may seem bountiful, unfortunately we only have a few dedicated parking spaces. 

Please DO NOT park in any of the spaces on the western side of the carpark (between the entry gate and the boat.) They are for The Hardware Store customers and staff with the three spaces to the right of the entry door reserved for the other tenants in our building.

Please park along the left of our entry door.

We are new neighbours and we want to stay on good terms. As they say, you're only a good neighbour until you're not! If you don't get a spot, please park thoughtfully on the street. Thanks for your cooperation here.

Public Transport

If taking Public Transport, take the 470 Bus to Moore Street Leichhardt and alight at John Street.

If travelling by train, it is a good 20 minute walk from Stanmore Station via Young Street.

The closest Light Rail stop is Lilyfield. Cross the City West Link and walk along Catherine Street and turn left at Hill Street. Allow 15-20 minutes walk time depending on your pace.

Other Information

Entrance via Hill Street carpark.  There are three steps down into the studio from the car park entrance. Please let us know if you wish to check regarding accessibility.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS

If your child is attending two workshops on the same day in different venues they will be escorted safely between venues by our staff. Please collect your child from the venue where their afternoon workshop is being held.
