The Young ArtEsties | Student Showcase | 3-26 July

“Through education comes understanding. Through understanding comes true appreciation. All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” Pablo Picasso.

This exhibition brings together a selection of artworks created by students of the children and teen art classes at artest. The show showcases the talents and creativity of a diverse group of young artists working across a broad range of mediums.

Tutor of the Wednesday and Saturday Teen classes, Ashley Frost said, "The children and teens have displayed an energetic perseverance to their art making with a unique and creative flair. Their impressive technical skills are fostered and developed over a number of art classes at the ArtEst studios. The classes are delivered by professional artists in a highly inclusive and supportive environment."

The exhibition provides a wonderful snapshot of the students' work and allows friends and family to see the hard work being put into the creation of artworks by the young ArtEsties.
