Edge 2021

The Great (Art) Outdoors | Sunday 2 May, 10 am - 1 pm

Artists of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in The Great (Art) Outdoors on Sunday 2 May, a free event that will attempt to create a world record for ‘the largest outdoor art studio’.

Hosted by Art Est Art School and the Inner West Council, participants will create an artwork along the inner west GreenWay under the guidance of award-winning Australian artists. Participants will then be invited to showcase their works in a gallery exhibition at Art Est gallery.

No previous art experience is necessary and basic art materials will be supplied, but art enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their own supplies.

To join, simply choose your dedicated art form below and register online to confirm your spot.

There will be free workshops in painting, drawing, illustration, or fibre art which will be run by award-winning Australian artists including:

Tanya Baily Laura Carey Monika Diak Ashley Frost Serena Geddes Tannya Harricks Laura Jade Hindes Nicole Kelly Lucia Langen Matilda Michell Sally Mowbray Mellissa Read-Devine and 2020 GreenWay Art Prize winner Nicole Robins.
