Visual Art Classes for Young Artists
Nurture your child's love of art! Our children's art classes promote individual creative growth and expression through the joy of art. Your child will discover their own creative potential through the development of their technical and artistic skills in a fun learning environment.
After school and Saturday classes
Classes are available for school children 5 years and over:
Use the menu at left to find out more about term classes, as well as holiday workshops and birthday parties. High School students in Years 9-12 can extend their senior school and HSC visual art practice by joining any of our adult classes or workshops. (Materials are not included in the fee for adult courses.)
Small class sizes ensure individual tuition
Through keeping our classes to a maximum of 12 students, children receive individual attention they would not normally attain in a school classroom environment. This encourages original thinking, creative problem solving, self-confidence and individual growth both personally and academically.
Professional, practising artists as tutors
Taught by practising artists and educators in a professional art studio, children explore art theory and practical exercises. The classes are structured to cater for different ages.
Term fees include tuition and all materials
The term and workshop fees include all materials used in class.
All classes are suitable for new and continuing students.Be sure to check our website regularly and join our mailing list to be the first to hear of any new classes and workshops on offer.

“One really good thing about Art Est is they get the balance right between making it fun and enjoyable for kids while at the same time imparting real art skills and knowledge.”
I would like to let you know what a great time the boys had at their school holiday classes - I have never seen Tom, in particular, so proud of what he has created. We are now holding in-house exhibitions for whoever is lucky enough to cross our threshold! Once the boys also realised that their pieces are on your facebook page, things just went crazy from there!!! A huge thanks to you, Susie and Jane for providing them with such a great opportunity. - LdeS, Leichhardt
