LOST - Leichhardt Open Studio TrailIts time to register your studio, artspace, or gallery for the inaugural LOST - Leichhardt Open Studio Trail scheduled to occur during Art Month on Sunday 4 March 2012. For the first time, a large number of artist studios and spaces in the Leichhardt Local Government Area will together open their doors to the general public. For artist and artist studios, this is an opportunity to offer the public a glimpse into your personal creative realms. It's a chance to show the blood, sweat and smears that go into each and every different creative process on view. Closing date for applications is Friday 6 January 2012.
Insight Out of Sight Art CompetitionLeichhardt Council invites local artist of all aes and skill levels ot enter the Insight Out of Sight Art Competition. To enter you ned to come up with a design for one of eight traffic signal boxes in the area. If you are chosen as a finalist you get to paint your design on site and instantly win a cash prize. Revolver is calling all artistsRevolver is a new inner west cafe wanting to give up and coming artists a place to show what they can do. Not just another cafe/gallery selling art. There is one space only to showcase your art for a month in 70cmx100cm in a beautiful old gilt frame.
